Yeah i’ve got a few pieces of driftwood in there. Do oscars usually take food the first day?
Unless they are sick or extremely stressed young Os have a voracious appetite. Mine jump up and bite my hands trying to feed ...and they get fed 3x a day minimum so it aint like they're starving.
He may not take food today since its a new home but its unlikely he will refuse by tomorrow.

Beautiful little monster btw. Looking forward to updates as it grows

Me want a LEMON!!!! They're like unicorns in my area.
Mine was a gift from a friend doing a breeding project. I was on live aquaria last night (thinking of ordering some fresh water clams) and I saw that they have lemon oscars. Can't attest to the quality but liveaquaria usually sends decent specimens of inverts I've ordered from them. Haven't ordered fish from them.

He already ate frozen krill. Still pretty stressed.

little oscars are pretty out going for the most part, I would not worry about the lights, he is use to them, if he is not out going and looking to eat when you come around by tomorrow I would start worrying.

I'll look into that, I really love the lemons.
