Yeah i’ve got a few pieces of driftwood in there. Do oscars usually take food the first day? What a cutie! Give him a 'hiding spot' so he'll settle in quicker.

Unless they are sick or extremely stressed young Os have a voracious appetite. Mine jump up and bite my hands trying to feed ...and they get fed 3x a day minimum so it aint like they're starving.Yeah i’ve got a few pieces of driftwood in there. Do oscars usually take food the first day?
Mine was a gift from a friend doing a breeding project. I was on live aquaria last night (thinking of ordering some fresh water clams) and I saw that they have lemon oscars. Can't attest to the quality but liveaquaria usually sends decent specimens of inverts I've ordered from them. Haven't ordered fish from them.Me want a LEMON!!!! They're like unicorns in my area.
He already ate frozen krill. Still pretty stressed.Unless they are sick or extremely stressed young Os have a voracious appetite. Mine jump up and bite my hands trying to feed ...and they get fed 3x a day minimum so it aint like they're starving.
He may not take food today since its a new home but its unlikely he will refuse by tomorrow.
Beautiful little monster btw. Looking forward to updates as it grows
