120 gallon 3 fish?
Well there's 5 fish, the oscar and 4 blood parrots, and depending on filtration, your tank may or may not be able to handle that. Frankly, I'd just run purigen or something like that, far easier and more practical than removing 90 plus gallons of water every other day.

With good clean water comes great growth and active outgoing fish.

I am no where near duanes duanes regime, but doing fin level water changes every third day turned this 1in oscar

Into a 12in beast in 12 months

I know but the 120 is only for the oscar and 2 big blood parrots. the other and the pleco are going to a new tank probably this week or next.

Give hime time, variety of food and clean water and he will grow even more. But an oscar only 12" is small. Ive seen 45cm oscars in person. They do get large and have potential to reach 45-50cm.

Your goal should be the healthiest fish which doesn’t always equate to the largest. I would definatley increase water changes but let your tests be your guide. Your fish looks healthy, celebrate your success and let your fish guide you. Oscars are notorious over eaters so don’t let him fool you into believing he is starving.
