Oscar questions.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Currently I've adjusted the w/c schedule on the main tank with the addition of the new BP and syno. Was 50% twice a week , now 80% twice a week. Final group for the 225 is 1 O, 2 synos, 2 BPs, and one Sev.

And I might be doing a measurement of Brick for July...:grinyes: current pics of him are in another thread.

There is no doubt that keeping fish, especially oscars can be a little work. I find that with the right tools changing water and cleaning gravel is not that bad. Yes it is a bit time consuming. But I enjoy a nice looking tank and happy fish.
Not a member of the bare tank club.

That is exactly what i had bwfore but got tired of cleaning it.
I never touch my sand. Never clean it. Only do my water changes. I have a mix of rabbit snails and Malaysian trumpet snails which do a great job at keeping it all clean and well turned over. A lot of people don't like MTS, but I found they offer a lot in terms of helping me with my tank maintenance. Including keeping the glass clean.
