I will. Thank you! I guess the 120 gal minimum for two is the truth. I appreciate it.It is just like that lol. I would upgrade as soon as you can as it can help them grow faster and overall it’s just better for the fish.

Beautiful Oscar. Yeah these two in this 90 is very very active and happy, they both swim up and down very fast against the glass in their reflection all day long all excited, but that will only last so long. They’re little juvies so. Wow, I didn’t know their poop got that big at that size, jesus lol. Im definitely gonna get a bow front 200g, tanks beautiful, just keep them two in it. Ill also do water changes like that every few days when they get bigger. I have a huge airstone and a internal filter with a air stone in it and those two things on top of them being so active made them so much more active. They barely ever sit still.Mine started in a 55gal.View attachment 1542379
At the 7 to 8 in mark she got upgraded to a 6ft 125gal View attachment 1542382
And there was a very noticeable difference in her activity level. In the 55 she just kinds floated around. In the 125 she was activity swimming around, exploring.
I got her to around 12 inches before I gave her to a fellow MFKer due to my liquid rock water.View attachment 1542380
She continued to grow and last I heard she had pushed out to 14 inches View attachment 1542381
Be prepared for many big water changes. As you have seen already I am sure Oscar's are very messy eaters, with half the food flying out of the gills...
Remember the simplest solution to pollution is dilution. At the 12 in size Oscar's poo is as big around as a pencil and 3 to 4 inches long. So as they grow you will need to increase the frequency of water changes. Or just start it now like I did with water changes every three days, down to fin level to make sure you have a strong healthy fish.View attachment 1542383
I was inactive on this forum for the past few months, but if what I think is true then I'm really sorry for your loss. Brick was a true baller and personality on this forum and I enjoyed reading the chronicles of his story. May he swim in peace.
Doesnt acrylic get dirty fast tho? They sure look amazing in a 240 , get a custom all 1" acrylic built for you , with regular strip bracing , four 6"![]()

Any tips? Ik the things gonna have to cycle for a good two months lmao.More than just tank size (although bigger is always better)
The regime of water changes, your time and ambition allows will be significant.
If you are able to do a couple large water changes per week, a tank in the range of 90 to 125 gallons could work.for 1 individual
Because, unless you can keep nitrate at very low levels, chronic diseases like HITH tend to plague oscars (especially if pH is above 7) as they age.
