I first got my tiger oscar in late January beginning of February I believe he was about an inch when I got him or her I first had him in a 150 for a week or so and it sprung a leak and I had to do an emergency move at 1 in the morning and all I had was a 20 gallon to put him in unfortunately, he was in there for a few months or so and I bought a 75 gallon which he or she was in for about 3 months then just recently I moved him to a 135 gallon to get to the point he or she is only like 5 maybe 6 inches long and I remember the oscar I had before grew alot quicker I'm scared that it's growth is stunted but I'm not sure and hoping that it goes threw a growth spurt and hits 10 to 12 inches one day any input will help and yes I know 20 gallon tank is to small I had no other options but now my o is in a big tank

If you did routine water changes, and fed Oscar properly I don't think Oscar won't stop growing.

pops pops knows his oscars, maybe he will chime in.

15% a week on a 20gal with an oscar sounds a little on the low side. Try aiming for 40% weekly or higher if you can. Especially while he's still growing. :)

When he was in the 20 gallon I was doing half but with the 135 I do 15 percent I'm just worried at 10 months only being 5 or 6 inches

A pick would help. not going to bull crap you, 15% water change is not near enof once a week. again pics help. but def sounds stunted, not by tank size but water quality. any HITH?

Do you know your tank parameters? I'm curious to see where your nitrate is at with your WC schedule. :)

No HITH or LLE in all he looks good eats good I'll try to get a picture he likes swimming back and forth when In front of the tank
