I have 1 oscar at 7.5" and 3 at 2" they all hand feed so maybe you can try hand feeding, oscars have great personality and are great fun! Catfish wise you could have pictus which are mega active and lovely looking to! Or maybe a black lancer? So many catfish to chose from haha!

They dont get large, i have 3 at around 4-5" so a school is prefered so you can probably house around 5-6 in your 75, the only reason i only have 3 in my 150 is because i keep other cats!

I read pictus are very slow growers...and since my oscar grows fast he may eat them if they are bought small...ill need to grow them out in a diff tank I suppose

I made the mistake of only one pictus there growth rate does take a while ecspeacially on there own I had mine for 9mnths and only grew 2and a half inches,i have the same problem my oscars have started to breed and have become very aggressive so I think I know where my pictus went :/

Well I only have 1 oscar but I'm sure he would still like to eat small catfish...but I sure didn't wanna have to grow them in a diff tank for 5 years to be added with the oscar which mjay still kill them all LOL

Hmm my pictus grew fast? Guess I've been lucky! Pictus have spines so if one does get picked up and the oscar gets spined he'll learn his lesson!
