Oscar with BGK

I has a oscar kill a ck but left my bgk alone and never botherd it i'm going with every one else on the personality of the fish. I had them together in a 75 with no problems till the ghost was about 10 inches and the oscar when 12 with a few different tubes for the bgk. I think my oscar left him alone becuase he stayed in his tubes swimming most of the time. And allso isn't much of a thread. But the clown he hated and killed only one way to find out and good luck.
 
i have the oscar in my avatar in with a bgk in a 125g. there has never been any issues. i started a thread when i was thinking about doing it and i got the same responses. the bgk has no issues smacking anything around when it comes time to eat. it will really come down to the individual fish. this oscar is very peaceful and doesnt even bother the 2 pictus that are in there. he is the only cichlid in there so he really has no competition. 12 assorted dollars, bgk, 2 pictus and a watermelon pleco. starting them together when the oscar is that small will def help. good luck
 
so far still doing good had a little incident with the silver dolars but its fine now, evil little fin nippers
 
Well beside the tank devaloping a little alge problem the fish are doing great. Ive uped my water changes and hope it clears up soon. Heres some pics of the BGK and Oscar

P.S. I've trained the BGK and Oscar to eat food out of my hands:nilly:
 
so far the BGK is growing bigger faster then the oscar. I feed the oscar Hikari gold and the knife gets ripped up market shrimp
