The first house it was there for 4 years the second one for 1 year. Standard 2x8 spread 16 inches on center. Unless you live in a moble home I doubt it will be a problem.

i live in a normal house
i think my joist are 2x4 and 16 inches from each joist
so 4 of the joist can go on the tank.
do you think if a get a sheet of plywood under the tank , a bit bigger then the tank it will spread the weight out more . do you think that will help.

i be reading and you can keep small takemate with but you put they small takemate in the tank first , then the oscar. i migth buy a litlte pleco or loach or something like that what stay small and clean the tank .
have anybody keep a weather loach with a oscar. becasue if i get one i could but my weather loach in the tank , with a juvenile oscar , so the weather loach will help to clean the tank, and the oscar could be less agressive. so when the oscar grows i will put the weather loach back in his tank . and probaly the loach will be bigger then 12cm when i get a ocsar and tank. do you think this is a good idea.

The Rena XP2s say that they are rated for 75G tanks, but after you put media in them, they are not going to come close to that. If you are wanting a rena canister filter, then get an XP3 for that Oscar.

Oscars require a bare minimum of 50-55G per Oscar (alone). You could keep one in a 55G for it's entire life, make sure hes by himself and have good filtration with weekly water changes. Keeping the nitrate in the tank a maximum of 20-25ppm. They live up to 10-15years. Very intellectual fishes and very amusing to watch. Also don't feed them live feeder gold fishes unless you raise them yourself or quarantine it for at least a month in a separate tank.
