Does anyone know if its possible to feed oscars Bees & Wasps (and spiders etc...)?
I am sure that in the wild they eat all sorts of stinging insects, but just wanted to make sure before i drop some in as live food.

they say not to use spiders as they all have venom in them but not enough to hurt a human but can hurt a fish.....iam not sure with the wasps and bees but if you are i would remove the stinger.

My uncle used to have bee hives, the worker honey bees where harvested all the time...I used to feed my Oscars defrosted honey bees for over a year with no issues.

feeding frozen bees is one thing live ones probly wouldn't be fun to do or very good for the fish but frezing them would probly be okay if you pulled out the stingers

I wouldnt do it. Look for other alternatives of live foods. Bee's and wasps's will probably just foat on the top. Why not feed crickets and moths?
