So, depends on fish attitude, like I said. A few here are successful with this pairing, so it's up to you to try and see...

I have a jardini aro with a stingray it all depends on the fish!!

Should be fine aslong as they are of a similar size.

My peacefull oscar that wont touch any of the feeder goldfish i give him and lives with 2 albino angel fish will sniper any thing worth over 20 dollars , like a little "freshwater barracuda" I recently got or my soft shell turtle baby! The feeder goldies still are alive and well and getting huge.

Like many have said, I belive it all depends on the fish. I introduced my aro to my oscar when both were about 5 inches. The oscar did'nt really like him too much at first, but they get along just fine now. Hell there's some people I don't get along with, so how can I expect my fish to be any different?

i think if the tank is big enough fish have their territories and stick to em

well I'm about to add a silver aro with my 5 oscars and ornate bichir in my 268gal so will let you know how it goes when i do.

I would not keep them in the same tank. I had a 8" aro in with a 3" oscar and the oscar would contontinually hit and bite the aro in the belly. By the time i realized this the aro had hit underside badly damaged and i separated them. The aro healed ok but died about a month later and all the water parameters were fine. :(
