  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That's great news :) ive got to take mine to the vets at half five for booster shots he's not going to be happy boy tonight :(

Actually I feed her NLS exclusively and hikari sticks as treats!

Thanks chub,ls and evz! Hoping all works out!

We actually changed her name to Emma, makes sense having a female cat made Kate.

You really should have her on massivore. Which company is her health plan through? I'm going to be looking at getting one for my new dog too.

Great news! So glad your baby is ok!!! More pics please :)

Looking forward, you can consider pet health insurance. We've always used VPI Veterinary Pet Insurance. Our 2 year old whippet has this since she came home with us at 12 weeks old. She has the major medical plan with double cancer endorsement and Careguard Wellness. Its about $50 a month. They provide multi pet discounts and coverage for cats as well.

Very good decision. Spaying alone is really expensive, let alone medication, shots etc. :)

Yea its pretty good. Good piece of mind.

She doesn't like the smell of massivore..... :/

Its not actually insurance, its a "care plan," that's good for 1 year and unlimited amount of appointments w/ all necessary shots, vaccines. Best part is its deductes the $ every month out of your bank on w/e day you prefer. Its thru Banfield animal hospital, mine is located in Petsmart but their not affiliated. Vets and assistants are very professional and educated, I was pretty impressed!

Wow that's pretty nice! But since this is up the road and cheaper I like it! Plus while I wait I can do some shopping ;)

Sorry to hear about your dog but that's awesome you take care of it. Some just look at is as a lost cause...

Awe, she's so adorable, great pics! Love the fuzzy muzzle :)

Our whippet Lilac isn't sick. The double cancer endorsement is an additional rider on the policy, its extra coverage just in case.

Years ago, I had a rescue that had breast cancer, but she survived for several years after treatment. Luckily she had the extra rider too, or else it would have been a very expensive illness. Pet insurance is reimbursement after you pay the bill. It doesn't cover everything like the plan you have for your puppy now.

:)

Adorable, active and healthy. Most importantly she knows not to mess with Kate, whom in the past has NEVER taken to any animal, dog or cat no matter the size she wont go close then hide so this is pretty special!

Absolute harmony! uploadfromtaptalk1391300497113.jpg

She looks out for the pup, very intriguing!uploadfromtaptalk1391300562576.jpg

I have definitively been blessed with some incredibly loving and special animals! Emma is doing great! Eating a ton, solid stools and always using her puppy pad! She recently had her 2nd round of vaccines and shots so she's almost in the clear! I can't even imagine if my girlfriend and I did not make the trip to go get her, chances are she would be dead :(

Thanks to everyone who showed support and advice :)

Eww what the hell is that cat at the end for? Iguanas get bad rep for being bad pets but theyre not any worse than cats.

Either way that puppy is adorable and DEFINATELY looks under 6 weeks, especially for a shepherd cross. I bet you can`t wait to see how she turns out? My aunt used to have a black lab and boxer cross. looks just like a lab only with a slightly smaller snout. Hopefully you get that kind of look and not that ugly deformed boxer face. Unless thats what you like in which case I hope you get it lol :)

keep updates I want to see if those eyes change any more, and how old is it now?

I take it your not cat lover? She was in the 1st pic with her paw on the dog sleeping, my cat has been here for 4+ years and is never going anywhere.....and what does my iggy have to do with anything? Sorry a bit confused as this thread was intended to be about my dog which happen to be sleeping next to my cat which is a miracle cuz my cat hates every animal but seems to like this dog! Words like "eww" when talking about my cat are not welcomed!

Vets said she was 7-8 weeks and we've have her for almost 4 so she's about 12 weeks and growing a lot every day. Her left eye is still blue. Will post pics later.

That is cute. sometimes even normally grumpy pets will sense vulnerability in a weaker baby like your pup & respond with the best in themselves.
