Our pool to pond conversion

In 2006my wife and I converted an in ground pool into a pond.
It had an older sand filter that we used for the 1st year trying to find
the right material to keep up with a group of koi.
Over the past 4 years we made improvements and added plants, new sand filter
and a skippy filter. We spend many hours working on and enjoying our pond.
My wife constructed the waterfall out of old logs,brick,stones and 3 layers of industrial trash bags. I am new to this site and have been reading for the past couple of weeks. Here are some pics from our progress

The tree is a bald cypress, has gotten big fast-
Next time I transfer it to another container will be its
last.
