out of the whole genus who is your favorite, who is the most killer and share your stories and experiences ,tell me if you own a fish of this genus, i think this genus is so fascinating i love jaguars....let me see ur parachromis you own!

Dovii.

Never had.

Just Jaguars and Fredddies.

i have 4 small-sold to me as freddies-but i think loiselli? growing out now.2nd pic is my female jag i had 5 years ago.great fish.while i had her,a tankmate was male cyano-texas,they mated.so the 3rd fish is only half a parachromis! but still a beast

I have a 12" Female Jag and a 7" Female Freddy. My jag had a horrible time being introduced to the tank.... She beat the hell out of every one in the tank the first time I tried.

I had to qt her for another 3 months to let everyone size up. Now all is well, but she still runs the tank. One of my most personable fish.

really diggin the texas/parachromis mix

Mine is split between my la ceiba yellowhead pair and RTM's. I've never owned a Dovii so I can't comment on them, but I've had Loiselli and currently have a Jag. IMO la ceiba and RTM's remind me of why I got into the hobby in the first place. Vivid colors, "personality", aggression etc. :)

I have yet to see a aggressive jag in MY tanks. Just my experience. The fiercest thing ive seen in my tank was a female loiselii. Although i have some male dovii cooking which might take the crown when adults :)
