This looks like the "vampire eel" I bought from you several yrs back. It was plain gray with a longer snout and more impressive teeth compared with my G.tile. Mine died a few yrs ago with a skin ulcer on its head/neck. A photo of this eel was included in the recent article on my tank in Tropical Fish magazine in the UK.

Can you tell me about expected salinity requirements?

Very intresting creature but info on housing/water requirements seems pretty scarce......
