OUT OF THE HOBBY?

im always looking to upgrade. fish bring to much joy to my life. i love animals and i love my fish. its more then a hobby to me. its a life style.

well put. Fish are too important to me in my life to stop keeping them. animals and the outdoors are my passion in life so fish keeping is not even close to being a hobby to me.

Never thought a conversation between L Aquatics and I would end up in The Lounge. Still thinking about it tho... I could really use the money when I move to Texas.

I can baby sit fish bro =-) However, if not picked up in a 90 day period it becomes mine...LOL..

I have lived with fish in my house since the 80's....I have been through the evolution of many aquarium products....Remembering the undergravel filter days gives me the shivers....my father always yelled at me for not "cleaning" the bottom plate right..."you must keep enough "sludge"(bio material), but leave not too much."(YUCK)....4 years ago, today, I had over 1000 gallons worth of tanks in my basement....Today, the room is filled with just their stands.(SAD)It is like the DOT COM boom for me all over again....I sit writing this response in my living room, next to my only(current) tank, a NANO8(saltwater)......I use to pull in cose to $700 every Friday working as a Union construction worker...Now I sit home, soaking information and hope for a better future and life....Patience is a *****, but I am sure it is well worth it....This is what life is as a full time college student....

I think about quitting all the time. Then I sit back and watch my Pbass for a few minutes and the thought goes away..LOL

I have freezer full of reasons to quit. I just love the hobby too much.

I cannot remember when the last time I did not have at least one aquarium was. I will always have at least one.

Sadly I am slowly getting out of the hobby......I know I will always have at least one tank going but reptiles are where it really is for me.......It really hit me the other day when I realized that I only have four tanks running currently compared to the normal sixteen.........
