was thinking if i was over feeding my baby p's i feed them about 4 times a day and night and they take the offerings every time. just hope im not doing damage to them. i only got them 5 days ago and there already a bit bigger then the pet shops. that must be a good thing

No!..over feeding is not a good thing. it is good when you feed them 2-3 time a day. Growing faster is not just diet. it's combo with space, water parameter, water change, envoriment, etc...
IMO not matter how good and strong is your filtration water change and do gravel vacuum is a must..
ive ben keeping fish for 20 years now and 8 of them years i never did any water changes or vaccume gravel and never had any problems water quality is better then when i did the changes. have a filtration system that purifies the water and have amazin bactiera growth to brake down the waste and its not needed. but i cant give out my secret over the fourm.

Water changes about every 6 months or so and I don't think I EVER vaccummed the gravil but I DID have a reverse flow UGF thats only job was to keep the junk out of the substrait.

you dont need water changes its a old wives tale. its all bactira growth and purifing the water that ges in the tank with the right filter system. you vaccuming the water causes more harm then good disterbing the balance and then relinsing al the waste from the bottom all over the tank. ive tested it now for 8 years and the results are next to none
