thats gonna be tough with the design of the Durso since it will stick out above water level. maybe look at the other designs?

ok i thought up a pretty good idea. an di would have figured out if it worked but i got 1.5 in pipe and the bulk head is 1.25 
but what im thinkin of doin is cutting slits all around the pipe pretty wide. to where there is more open than pvc. and then get a cap for a slightly larger pipe and silicon it to the top so its kinda like a 360 degree durso. also i will drill a hole and add a air line. but that sounds pretty effective right ?

the third option I assume is the Stockman stand pipe. This is the one I am going to be making in the next few days when my parts arrive. I will post construction pics and if it works or not.
I don't have much noise from my over flow anyway so it is going to have to be pretty good to reduce what noise there is.

ok well that was fun.
spent all night working on it. ended up just doing a straight tube. its actually pretty quiet. i might add somethin later but i was just done working by 430 am and didnt want to mess with it.
but i pianted the pipe drak blue and it matches the background perfect. the tanks looks alot more open without that giant pipe.
