Does overcrowding a cichlid tank decrease aggression?

I agree too. It seems like a lot of people share that beleif too :( I hate the people who let fish kill other fish. These fish are in unnatural conditions, and it is up to the fish keeper to be resposible.
 
Overstocking works in BIG tanks, not small tanks, people get a 30gal or so and get like 5 oscars and 10 african cichlids and 3 arowanas and say the more the merrier, makes me sick
 
I agree with the last reply. It will work with bigger tanks. You just have to keep the fish from breeding. Once they start pairing off all bets are off.
