O.k. how many of you guys have done this? It happens to the best of us sometimes when doing multiple water changes at one time or etc.
I just have a bad habit of falling asleep. LOL. About a year ago I overflowed my 220 for about 4 hrs. Yeah it sucked. Carpet soaked water everywhere, about 5 or 6 fan's blowing 24/7 in my room....:irked::irked::irked: Luckily it is cement underneath so minimal damage was done besides my personal belongings that were touching the floor.

Well, just about 4 day's ago I overflowed my koi pond in the basement for about 6 hrs.:irked::irked::irked: Most of the water was channeled to the sump pump so I got lucky and my fish are already eating like normal so everything should be fine, but it sounds like a airport down there right now with all the fan's blowing. LOL

I hope this dont happen again.:grinno:

i didn't overflow my tank, but once I was holding a hose to fill my 75g, and was on the phone. slowly my hand drifted, and about a minute later I realized I had been hosing the WOODEN floor. Mom got maaaaaaaaaaaaad!!!

We have never overflowed a tank before but we have overflowed the kitchen sink a few times.Sucks when from around the corner of the room i hear a strange waterfall sound and see an inch of duck weed on the kitchen floor,Dam sink clogs with the smallest particles.

Yeah I haven't overflowed my tanks yet but I have had hoses slip out before while refilling. It really sucks because my tanks are in my room and I get my bed, TV, computer and everything else wet. Then Ill have to use about 20 towels to soak up water:nilly:.

LOL, I've been there, done that also. The hose goes flyin across the room and soaks everything in it's path.

I'm just glad I have not fallen asleep yet draining a tank. That would be so worse than overflowing in my opinion cause the loss would be x-treme!!!!

your right there but that's not the topic of this thread...:naughty:

Sux Bro! I fell asleep a couple of times before too. then I got a flood alarm and had it mounted to the top water level I wanted. So when the water touched it it gave off this loud screaching noise. That has helped quite a bit

Can you hook me up with a link? This is the miracle solution I have been looking for. Is it real loud, LOL, I'm a real heavy sleeper...:irked:
