Let me know if you find one of these through a regular supplier, I'd like one for myself but have only ever seen them imported out of Singapore.

Don't see why not, they're all universal in coupling size. I'm going to call some asian arowanna places in Singapore by Tuesday to see about getting the really high end models made out of glass - if you're interested PM me.
Those look pretty tiny. Especially the ebay one. Think about how big 20 or even 30-40cm is. That's not really what I think when I think OHF. In asia they have one peice long 3-4-5 foot ones that have seperated chambers.
IMO honestly if you can't find one get some peices of acrylic as long as your tank and maybe 12" tall, 12" wide, put those together and make seperations in it to make chambers and have the water overflow into the next box and down the line by making the dividers shorter in height as you go down the line. This is how the one I had was designed and IMO is efficent and the only way really worth putting the money out for a OHF if you get alot of room for media. It also had a drip tray, as well as media trays, etc but I won't go into specifics as I'm just saying.

The GB wouldn't have to be just for your area, it could be for all of U.S. MFK members. I'd be down for a couple if we could get decent pricing and they are larger ones.
