Overrated / Underrated Fish ?

under: peakock gudgeans, fw flounders, monsterfish, farowella (much better than common pleco),african butterfly, mudskippers, electric catfish, dragonfish, knives other than clowns and bg, high quality bettas, peacock bass, yoyo loach, gar, eartheaters,
over: any goldfish (just not a colldwater guy), khulis, pictus, columbiansharks, bullheads, blue dempseys

Overrated: Pirahnas, wolffish, bichers, eels (like the spiny and tiretrack), flowerhorns, Asian arowanas, discus.
Underrated: Most catfish, U.S. native fish (such as sunfish, bullhead and madtoms, darters etc.), goldfish, convicts, smaller fish (cyprinids, tetras), Siamese fighting fish.
I'm going to bring up oscars here for a second. I find that most of the general public do overrate them but a lot of the members here underrate them. Just because they are common, messy and well recived by the general public does not make them any less awsome than any other cichlid. On the other hand, there are a lot of other fish with great personalies that the general public won't give a chance.

overrated: stingrays"there not that bad" P's, pacus, sharks, and aisan aros.
underrated: clown knife, datnoids, eels, all salt fish, most of all "these are crustations" mantis shrimp" sweet as hell on a bad day lol" and pistol shrimp there the cutist yet most awesome thing. bolth usally consider pests.
