Wait, so these guys dont need brackish to marine water like the snow flake eel! Id love to get a few myself if they are full freshwater!

Full 100% freshwater. You can see my altum angels in there :)
I just add salt because I was recommended too.

Check the vendor section, rare fish. Last shipment has them listed. Not very many of these true freshwater moray eels out there.

Nice shade of yellow!!! Did it start darker and lighten up? Mine has that yellow tinge for sure but yours is bright i like it!

I have 3, the smallest one is the darkest so I think they get brighter as they grow in girth. Ill guess 12" is the small one and 14-16" are the 2 bigger ones.
Another factor could be the dark tank, not sure just guessing :)

For sure my fav fish though. I used to have a hiding spot for them and took it out a few months back. Non stop swimming and they hang like monkeys often now. They used to be very skittish and swim away with movement, now I can touch the glass and they will not swim away. Very entertaining fish to have!

Nice, i hardly ever see mine eat. I know he does cuz in the evening I see him swimming around looking for food, he's growing and quite healthy, but he doesn't come out at the first instance of feeding like my other fish do. He just hangs out and eats the leftovers i leave for him when I turn off the light. I've definitely seen him gobble worms and smelt and shrimp, but it's rare, it's more of me turning off the light and the food is gone in the morning and all my other fish in the tank go into sleep mode in the dark. But for sure in the evenings he hangs around and loves to swim, quite healthy looking. Sorry if this has been answered but so you buffer your ph at all or no?

Very nice! I have 1 about 8-10" that I've had close to 4 months and I still have never seen it eat but I know it is cuz it's in a tank by itself with a constant supply of guppies but it doesn't appear to have grown at all and it isn't shy at all. Constantly cruising around the tank

I have a bag of crushed coral in one of my chambers (RenaX3). I did add a small amount of SeaSalt for calcium but I got tired of doing that. I don't do anything special for them no more, 50-70% water changes once every 2-3 weeks. Feed heavily and have the lights on for about 8hrs (split up). These are my favorite fish atm, very entertaining.

I don't see much growth in them, I will say 1" every 3 months or so. I have never given live with the exception of ghost shrimp as treats every blue moon.

OH SNAPS, I just got a measurement on my biggest and it's 18.5"!!
Just had to get that off my chest lol
