I liked it. The enormity of it all was cool. I like that you could see the action unlike transformers or star wars 1-3 where the action flew by. Did you catch the end where ron pearlman was still alive? Pretty funny!

Stay after the credits! I love Ron pearlrman. Yes, just the sheer enormity of the movie is what gets you but I don't think its a rip off of anything.
You could say transformers copied Zoids, Iron man copied transformers and Pacific Rim copied transformers, Zoids, and iron man. But thats not the case, this movie is like nothing i've ever seen before. Went to see it last night for the second time!

It does remind me alot of Marvel's Godzilla. I believe SHIELD built Red Ronin(a giant robot with someone inside) to fight Godzilla.

I thought it was a cheap get over that all of the monster and fight scenes took place at night when you could hardly see anything.
