Sarcasm...really...I thought that he had a genuine interest in the study of fish scales...

I guess I won't post the link to the study conducted by John Van Oosten, H. J. Deason, and Frank W. Jobes using microprojection.

Who's to say I dont...

I take a great interest into the care of a pacu-
I should know-
I keep one of the nicer if not the nicest one on this board-

Did this guy look healthy? He is about 6-7" in length and a fat little dude.

He has some beaten up scales-
But from what I can tell from the pic-
Yes it seems to be in good health....

What do you plan on feeding this guy....Of course dont get him started on feeder fish....
Keep the water pristine,Offer a good quality (varied) diet and make sure to give the big guy multiple water changes weekly(even in that 135 gal) he will love ya for it.....

I am doing my homework on diet. Readily available I have shrimp pellets, frozen market shrimp, frozen brine shrimp, frozen blood worms, hikari sinking wafers, and knock off brand of flake that my wife feeds to her guppies.

Of course I do have feeder guppies that have not been isolated or fed out long enough yet to be a treat.

All suggestions would be appreciated.

Would not consider this a save unless the pacu gets to 20" or so and is in a 10' tank because it would have probably ended up like the rest smashing through tiny tanks that are to small for them to turn around in.
Sorry if it sounds like I'm an ass

I do not mind you sounding like an ass. You just weren't very clear. Kind of hard to follow.

Were you implying it had to be 20" and I had to place the Pacu in a 10' tank for it to be a rescue? Now do you want just ten square feet or were you wanting 10' X 10'?

Or were you implying that it needed to be 20" at Petco and squeezed into a 10 gallon tank? Now does the glass actually need to burst before its considered a rescue...:screwy:

Just needing a little clarification.

I think he meant a 10g aquarium...
