He ate some peas last night late.

Don't worry 'mom' its appetite will pick up once it finds out it's not getting anything else. They usually won't starve themselves. Mine grew 17" in its first year and I wasn't trying.

I still like walmart's sign on the tank saying it will grow to 10" (it just doesn't say that's in 6mo.s!).

He is a beautiful pacu and he will catch on to the veggie diet in time.. he can also eat some pellets but i would skip the blood worms and frozen foods for now and stick with the carrots, sliced small, peas and small slices of bananas, zucchini slices and cut in half seedless grapes ..the pellets have enough protein in them .. he is simply awesome.. and best of luck with him. He is healthy looking too..
