i personally would not, but it looks sweet painted too though, but for that particular gun, i think it looks sik the way it is
I'm in the process of painting the stock on my Savage 116, and it got me thinking of painting the whole thing, including stainless barrel and scope. Then I got to thinking of the AR....

I voted to do it, I've always liked painted guns. But for the AR I would only paint parts of it and leave others as they are.
I think that camo looks good on a hunting bolt action like in the pic you posted, but I'd personally leave the AR the way it is, it looks bada$$ in the all black
