Painting a Cat

a tad creepy, however, it does make looking at a cat skeleton more appealing. very creative.

Thanks! I knew you would like this piece. It's getting permanently assembled as soon as I get all of the detail work done. Lots of drilling and cutting small brass pins. No room for error with this medium.

It's fun, just make sure everything is out of the skulls first. I recommend drawing out the design before applying any paint.

I don't recommend doing that, it ruins the bones. But seriously, look for roadkill or lucky finds. I'm going to ask the bio department if the can macerate a few dissected cats from anatomy lab for me. I have a few other really cool ideas for bone art.

Thanks guys! I'll be doing some more work on it tonight, so I should have some details shots of the larger bones up soon.
