bad...ass!

pig skeleton now! :D

bad ass x2

That is really neat ... I like the open mouth shot. A full skelly setup will be really neat. I'd love to see some of those fish skellies that were mentioned .

Glad you hear you guys like it. It only took a few days over a 2 week period to put him together. Lucky for me one of my close friends is taking an anatomy class where they have to dissect and closely study a cat. Her lab book was extremely useful.

It is finished. That's all the bones I could find. Something bit half of the tail off.

The small blacksnake skeleton is almost done cleaning, and the catfish skeletons will follow closely behind, except for the 3 foot long one. I have to clean some algae off of the smaller catfish. I might get some amano or glass shrimp to clean them in a temporary setup. The second cat is still macerating....

I knew you'd like it a lot. I'm trying to find something big for the next one. Pigs would be easy to find. Their skulls aren't too terribly interesting though, unless they have tusks. That would be fun to do.

Awesome. I like the shoulder blades and the subtle work on the neck

Thanks! Most of the detail on the neck is on the top.

I have a new skeleton to work with, once it's macerated! My friend's spider ball python became very ill and he had to freeze him. It's a shame because he was really pretty and very..... special in the head. Very friendly snake, but I could never get a good photo of him, he never stopped moving. He's in my freezer right now waiting to be submerged in water and decompose. I'd love to skin him first, but I don't know how to do it. Anyways, his skull will be interesting.
