Ya I think I got a good deal on it locally as well 175 when other vendors are selling same light for 239 so yup I think I scored lol

Think that's what i paid for mine plus postage to UK , all led units seem to be very pricey here in LFS in UK it was loads cheaper even having it posted over to me

Yea, the cost to get stuff into canada it always expensive. Even at 115$ shipping and exchange prolly be the same or more, lol I figure the 175$ aint bad it the cheapest I could find from A LOT of places, as most were expecting/wanting additional fee for over sized box for shipping. So it was a xmas present from myself to myself hahaha :)

$175 isn't too bad, it's just a shame there weren't any vendors with free shipping to Canada. I bet the tank looks great though, looking forward to those before and after pics when you have time

here is a couple pics of the tank before it was painted, as well as the other t5h0 light compared to the new led !!

pics never go in order I want, lol also added pic of the little leds I bought to light up inside of cabinet when changing socks and adding lil bit of light for pothos for nitrate eating

quickest and easiest for me as my tank is deeper than it is tall i just used a 5mm sheet of gloss acrylic and put it inside the tank, held back with the filter pipes.DSC_0793.JPG
