She probably has a hell of a collection of artifacts made from fossil walrus ivory/bone, whale bones/teeth/baleens, and mammoth bones/ivory. I was only up there for 10 days but, I managed to bring a good number of artifacts back with me.

cool , and yes she does, she also is big in to Native humans as well not so much on their remains but stuff they made pottery , weapons etc it's really neat..she has done many digs all over the US and a few in other countries including Russia .. i don't get to talk to her much ..but i bet you and her would have great convo.. i should make her sign up lol

There's an awesome book that she'd probably enjoy. It's called "Fossil Legends Of The First Americans"; by Adrienne Mayor. It deals with the beliefs, legends, perceptions, scientific theories, and lore of Native Americans on how they percieved the countless dinosaur bones and other fossils that eroded out of the stones all around them. Recommend it to her for me. She'll appreciate it (if she hasn't already read it).

Thats one of the opalized lungfish teeth i am talking about, was it found at lighting ridge? Alot of them come from there, alot of the opal fossils

Oh cool, hopefully i'll be able to find me a/some lungfish teeth fossils, one day, if i can get croc fossil surely i can get lungfish teeth, they are from the same area :D

how much does a marlin rostrum go for on average?

I've sold loose Miocene rostrums for around $20 each in the past. The Protosphyraena rostral piece is if not the most complete it's in the top 3 known. That one would be a major investment piece

Hey Oddball...are you ever going to reply to my PM's?
