Have any catfish fossils? I have seen several for sale on ebay before, shame I didn't have the month to buy them. I have one fossil skull from indonesia, that is supposidly from a catfish. It's about 6" long and is in great condition. Not sure how old though. Looks to be in too good of condition to be very old at all, but is completely fossilized. Not in a compressed plate either it's still completely inflated cranium. I'll try to dig up some pics of it.
 
oh, man that would be like a dream come true. I have searched the internet for years and have only found like maybe 3 or 4 pics of fossil catfish lol. I'll see if I can't find a pic of mine see if you can identify it. Might not even be a catfish, but looks plausible to me. I have seen hundreds of different species of catfish skull, and it looks like it might be one. You da man oddball!
 
you have a totally fascinating collection there oddball... you could open your own museum. how did you get your foot in the door for such an interesting career?

Fossil collecting is actually a hobby for me. I found my 1st fossils, on our property in France, when I was 6 and have been fascinated by them ever since. While I do sell fossils, the sales are mainly to advance my collections and pay for field collection equipment upgrades, gas, camping/digging fees, etc.

WOW!I just went through the Paleo-Aquarium Thread.Very interesting.I can't beleive I have not read through it previously.Very well presented Oddball and thanks for sharing.Will be looking out for updates.;)
 
How did you get so rich! Alot of the stuff reminds me of what i've seen on websites for $10k+!
