In first century there were a lot of Jewish terrorist type groups that committed crimes against the Roman state. In result the only solution Roman’s came up with was destroying the Palestine region, burn all Jewish cities to the ground (including Jerusalem). This resulted in Jewish people on the run thus spreading through out the whole Roman Empire (Europe). After the fall of Rome some jews moved in the area but by then Arabic tribes have settled in.

The area was under Palestine control since then, one day shows up Europe and tells them “hey guys, move over, Jews are back!”. If I was living in Palestine I would be a little pissy too.
