Some Corydora species are sensitive to change in water conditions than others. Also they need to be fed with pellet for bottom dwelling species such as Corydora.
If the Panda Corydora were WC that may
make it difficult to keep them

Corys produce a toxin when under stress. So if the shipper doesn’t take precautions to prevent that from happening newly caught/shipped specimen can suffer and some are weaker because of it.
I would firstly focus on double checking my tank, water and maintenance schedule. Then search out a trusted seller that consistently provide good quality fish.

This is a lecture by Eric Bodrock
He explains a lot and it’s kinda long but tons of interesting information.
He explains about the toxin at around the 10 min mark.
Excellent talk to watch when you have time.

All of the fish that I get from petco are good quality normaly. They don't die in the first couple months.
If you feel the fish are of good quality then you need to examine you setup and water parameters for clues as to what is going on.

No one will be able to help with the problem because you say your water is “fine”
If it’s not the water and maintenance on your part and it’s not the fish quality. What else can we suggest ?

Well, my dad said that they are fine and he has had fish tanks for 20 years so I don't know what the water is like but...

I have 3 Petco's near me and all 3 aquatic sections fish and aquarium conditions vary every time I visit one of them lol. I honestly prefer to buy fish from a very reputable privately owned aquarium fish store in my area or order online from a reputable vendor. It's a big turnover rate with employees of the big box stores like Petco, Petsmart, and Petsuppliesplus and their training sucks believe me I worked part-time for one of them a few years ago. Most aquatic care employee's knew very little.
