Panisyist fish ever!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
im no pro but 2 inches is very delicate. probably just finished taking in his sac. what was your temp because goldfish are coldwater and aros cant tolerate that especially a 2 incher.

the water was 78 and the ammonia was at 0 ppm befor i added him i monitor both my tanks more then the fish store does......im in love with my fish

Aros like the temperiture closer to 85...same as Pbass. I dount that this alone killed your babys but at that size they are barley out of the fry stage. For a fish that wil eventually hit the 5 foot mark....2 inches is an infant and should NEVER be housed with other fish.

2 inches is very delicate... That's why we always suggest keeping them by themselves in their own tank with water level around 6 inches will do.

until they hit the 6" mark at least...a foot is even better.

but for how long should they be alone?

6 inches onwards and when the fish is very ready to eat and look pretty good to be kept with other smaller tankmates.

there your problem a 2" arowana can be eaten by anything, they are very fragile, and for 40 you got rippped.

1. dont buy anymore aros
2. why did you leave it in the bag floating for 3hrs 1hr would have been long enought
3. why are you buying aros if you think they are wimps
4. bring your killer goldfish round my house lets see how long they live in my tank or how many aros they kill
5. have you got a 400g tank for this aro when it gets big
6. the 2inch aro will grow very fast 1-2inch per month at 2inch its still fry and you have to mother it

aros are wimps :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:
