hello all, i'm new to the forum. wanted to share pics of this 8-9 inch SL wolf cichlid... been with me for a month or more and this guy still darts behind the big piece of driftwood when i enter the room. at least he's not as shy as when i first got him and begs for food nowadays. i want him to get meaner so i've been feeding more live food like worms and feeder fish.

very nice fish.. I have a pair around 7".. Just give him some time he will not be shy at all.. Mine gets into it with a midas that is at least twice his weight..

absolutely BEAUTIFUL fish!!! i've got a male around 13" and he's my favorite fish that i've had in forever too. so far mine's killed everything i've ever put in with him.
