Paralyzed angelfish

The white strip from the gills makes me think it's a chemical burn of some sort. This may or may not recover (depends on how deep the burns) but the fish will have trouble breathing for a while so increase the turbulence on the surface of the tank.

hmm so u mean like our air tubes? how would we go about this... plus it wont eat right now... and
sry to be so questionny... but what do u think happened!?!?!

What where your exact procedures when you cleaned the tank?.. ie any chems used, how they where used, ect... the more specific you are the better the answers will be.. and a FYI for the future.. 100% water changes particularly w/ sick fish ( you said you where treating a different fish prior, correct?) are almost never a good idea, and unfortunately some fish are heartier then others and will survive such crazy swings in water quality. You said you use the test strips that tell you your water is fine. Can you give exact readings? and how old are the test strips? older test strips imo are almost useless.. and sometimes you can get false readings from them.

I agree it is likely a chem burn/shock. the best thing you can do is keep your water as healthy as possible, keep an eye out for secondary infections.

Nitrate - 0
Nitrite -0
Total hardness - 0-25
Ph level 6.8
total cholrine 0
total akaline 30-60
Tank temp - 23 degrees celcius
Container temp 17 degrees celcius

They are practically identical in terms of water quality

He still isnt eating.. but by the looks of it he's trying to survive...
still in the same spot but his body is a little more lopsided, not completlly sideways...

Just a scrub and clean, removed everything... we dont have a medium on our tank floor, and we replaced the water with tap water... , and than we kept the filters on with the heater and the air tubes all night....
He was damaged when we foudn him in the mourning...
water condition prior... all i can remember was a higher nitrate level but still witihn safe range, and slightly higher ph level... and the tempature...

So he became ill in his normal tank which may or may not be cycled, and then you plunged him into cold water? And you do this to him on a regular basis? Just for clarification.

You don't let soap touch anything in the aquarium, do you?

I just saw the video. Are you saying you left him in the bucket for awhile?

Where is the filter on your tank? I only see a heater and a naked UGF doing nothing.

EDIT: So my guesses, which you may shoot down, are soap poisoning, thermal shock, and a tank with no filtration.

im not sure if u were reading carefully.... or if i was being to vague...

his prior history he had no sicknesses whatsover.. i treated another fish with melafix that had fin rot... my mom decided to change the water so we put him in a container thats been aerated. overnight he bacame paralyzed did u see the vid? he has no sicknesses prior tot his

Im not clear on what you mean by "soap" if your talkign about cleaning the tank, we dont use soap we just wash and wipe down and was out again...

The filter is on the other end of the tank.. we have to AC'S ive changed the filters for both already as of 1 month ago, ones a 70 gallon and the other is a 10 or 30 gallon not shur = filter... for a 50 or gallon tank

I'm pretty sure the problem is the bucket. If it was ever used for cleaning then the residue of pine sol, ammonia, bleach etc. will do that. My first guess in bleach, it really wont take much to do that. I've seen bucket residue do far more damage than that.

If the fish is starting to right itself, less on the side then the fish might be getting better. Just give it time and clean water. If you can increase the air in the lift tubes it will boost oxygen levels. I didn't see any filter besides the bare under gravel on the tank.
