I'm pretty sure the problem is the bucket. If it was ever used for cleaning then the residue of pine sol, ammonia, bleach etc. will do that. My first guess in bleach, it really wont take much to do that. I've seen bucket residue do far more damage than that.

If the fish is starting to right itself, less on the side then the fish might be getting better. Just give it time and clean water. If you can increase the air in the lift tubes it will boost oxygen levels. I didn't see any filter besides the bare under gravel on the tank.

....yea i shouldve widened the shot for u guys to see the filters... i hope ur righgt mannn my mo cried all moruning cuz the fish is so old.... we have 2 ac's ones a 70 gallon and the other is a 30 or so gallon with new filters, ive changed the filters one month apart in each part and finish the cycle about one month ago

Temp shock tends to be really fast so if he didn't go all to hell right after the he went in the bucket I don't think that's it, also the body and fin damage. Bacterial fin rot (as opposed to chemical) takes days or weeks to do that much damage.

I've tossed countless 5 gallon buckets (given away) countless buckets is i though they might have been misused.

than it was probably prolong exposure of the bucket... sumtimes i put in a bit to much salt, and a bunch of checmicals so when it hits the tank itll even out... but i usually just fill it up right after putting it in.. my moms probably did everyitnh hasting since i wasnt helping her within of the work.. it didnt have n e fin damage prior to this... and if it did it wouldve been ceased for at least two weeks since we used melafix in the water right?

oh and do u think i should put in my 5 other pretty small gold fish and pleco?
and isnt he a litttlt close to the top is that dangerous?

ok so i think im gna add maybe a teaspoon and a hlaf of aquarium salt, and try to increase air flow..

So was the bucket used for anything else besides storing fish? Is there anyway that chemicals could have gotten in the bucket?

No, I wouldn't add any other fish until you've brought him around. Dare I ask what container these goldfish and pleco are in?

... they were put in seperate containers...
the angel fish's breathing has dramatically decreased it looks like its just clinging to the thread of life.... should i put it out of its misery.... its color has began to fade... i know its dieing now... like how a fishs scale begin whither away.. so his balck stripes are nearly gone and his breathing slowing down... its going to b the end soon...

Our little fish friend is now gone...
If anyone is curious of how the body looks after death... so they can help me determine the cause... jsut say so... and ill post it up on youtube...

I'm so sorry you lost your fish. There are probably more clues to his death in the immediate environment than in his body. Buy a liquid test kit in the next hour or two and get real readings for your tank and the bucket. And for goodness sakes, tell your mom to jump off a cliff the next time she wants to kill your fish.
