I'd say he's done for man. If he can't even move himself enough to get away from the filter, he's in bad shape. As stated above, I'd use some clove oil and euthanize him so he doesn't suffer anymore.

Even that provides a possibility of failure. The clove oil knocks them out and they die whilst unconscious.

It's not easy losing a fish, but it's better for him to not suffer. And that just makes room for your fish to grow, or to add another if you so wish.

Wouldn't be a bad pickup. Just make sure it's a GT and not a gold saum. I got conned like that. But he's too cute for me to want to let him go now.

pretty much all GTs you see will be a gold saum. true GTs are very hard to find. wont see these at a LFS
