Paratheraps bifasciatus sexing both fish?

here is another 3 pictures first 2 are smaller one and third picture is the bigger one which i believe is a male due to its pointy shape? hope these pictures help determine their sexes?

She prepped the space for laying eggs, causing but the female papillae to come out. You'll notice it looks blunt like a little eraser

Yeah that's a pretty clear shot of the female papillae thanks for the picture. Here's some more pictures first 3 are the smaller one and the last 2 are of the bigger one, Does this help determine their genders? I'm pretty sure the big one is a male as his is pointy and not blunt?

The papillae is not fully out, so it's difficult to assume female.
ok thanks for your help I guess i will have to wait until see if and when their pallipae comes out if they want to breed or not. The small one does look similar to your female in terms of size and shape but i guess you never know as males may look like that too no hump on the forehead. Bifa's are just so hard to sex compared to other fish.

so would venting both fish even the smaller one at that size for sure determine their sex for sure? would the smaller one at 4-5 inches be too small to vent?

Seeing who lays the eggs and who fertilizes the eggs is the only way to know for sure.
