parents and your tanks

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I moved to an apartment where i couldn't have my tank. So my parents inherited my tank for a brief time. My mom fell in love with my oscar. She talked to him constantly. So i would advise you to get fish that your parents would be interested in and maybe they will let you get a bigger tank. :)

lol i just brought it in...they still never noticied it in my bedroom my parents are that type that say no or talk about it for a few months and then say no but once ya do it they don't care that much...

To get a bigger tank I would recommend pointing out the benefits to your academics and education produced by managing a much large community of fish. If you have a true passion for it and think it could become a career then find ways to point this out and try to excel in the field.

Moving out is the best way to put whatever you want in your house.

I know that's not an option for a lot of your younger folks still in high school and such. I have no advice for you guys... no amount of pleading ever worked for me when I still lived at home. XD

yup. I was fortunate in that my Dad loved the hobby and got me into it..but the largest tank he would let us have was a 90g, which wasn't too bad.

however, I had to wait until I moved out and bought my own house to get a really big tank and set up my own fishroom.

sometimes, you just have to wait to get your dream tank. thats life.

as long as i clean them, keep good grades, and dont get caught with pot at school, its all good.

if i pay for it, i get it
