Paroon Shark: Update

Yeah lol we'll see, $10 for an experimental trail and error. Going to the tank every 20 minutes to see if they're all there still. It'll be amazing if they stay away and keep each other safe and healthy.

So far everyone of the rasboras is alive! Weird but the paroon looks like he has no interest In them. If everything goes well I'll get more and hopefully have a huge school of them to add to the tank.

You could put him in a 300 gallon rubbermaid tub for a while with a pump pushing water in a circle so he has a current. In the opposite direction of the current have the filter intake take in water so the current has goes in a circle. It looks something like this.

This is the current path in mine and my rtc and tsn like to swim around in the current sometimes. (above the output is a bin of bioballs so then the water comes down.)

Here's an update

He's pushing around 11-12 inches now. Finally hit a foot! Had him since mid August.. Making some progress since 1.5 inches.

All of the scissortail rasboras are still alive and doing well. Surprised that they are all still alive and healthy with him. Interesting... He just minds his own business and swims and they stay together in a school.

I like your idea a lot with the 300 gallon pond and current flow idea! Great idea! Might actually use it!
