paroon shark.

I love these fish, it would be ok for a short period of time but be prepared to upgrade to a huge size pond in the near future, good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I had my eye on 3 at 1 time but i was in the same situation as you so i gave it a miss, mayvbe next time. They are prone to disease also unless you take really good care of them as they have no scales and ich is the biggest killer of a paroon shark

I posted here earlier. MIne died this am. she grew 16" in just over a year. She was 30", 6"across her widest head span and weighed 5.5 lbs. THink wisely
That stinks

i kept three of these great fish in a 200 gallon, after around 14 months i gave them to my friend who owns a pond with red tails etc. these fish are totally unsuitable for home aquariams prefering other fish for lunch. best way to grow them when young is def feeders but dont get them its a big commitment. mine actually managed to eat my 9" rtc, also think in the long run this fish will reach 4 foot even in cramped conditions. too many of these fish are doomed to premature deaths and an uncomfertable life ( like when u get on the bus and theres loads of people on there) so please leave these monsters alone. btw they are the coolest lookin fish out there!

ei my bestfriends a petshop owner in my place .. secret in geting ds sharks realy big.. is feeding them feeder fish or guppies.. i had mine once it was about 10 inches i feed them newly born guppies cuz d supply was abundant here ^^ good luck and happy fish keeping ^^
Umm it's not a secret. Nor does it work that well. The real secret to growing them big fast is feeding them a well rounded protein rich pellet/seafood diet.
