i like the tiger fish ... as mentioned by a fellow member .. how would i go about finding something that exotic to wisconsin ... i tried to look up tank spec's ect and found nothing for a fish like this .. ill abort the paroon idea ... has anyone here had one of these evil looking things ...
tiger fish, you mean the datnoid? there is a sub-forum for them and I believe that krichardson have some of them. 480 should be more than enough for them!

Yes sir, dats are my passion but since he used the term evil looking I think he might be referring to the toothy African Tigerfish.

I don't have any of those Tigerfish currently but I do have an African odoe pike which is a relative of the tiger fish...I also have a few different kinds of peacock bass, datnioides and my monster armatus.I have a few old threads around that have pictures of some of my stuff.

Hees not talking about a datnoid, however they are nice, hees talking about the goliath african tigerfish, this would outgrow your tank but you could get away with a vittatus african tigerfish

be very careful with the paroon shark(iradecent catfsh) it can get up to 3.5 to 4 ft in length and a 480 gallon tank would be far too shall for this... the minimum recomended tank for justa pair is 1000 gal, i would personally go with a mixed chichlid tank....400 gal that would be great

Correction, 6-8 feet. Look at one of TL's videos and he has one of him going to an aquarium and there's a massive paroon shark in it.

Paroons and iridecent (spelling) are two different fish from the same genius. One growing 7-8ft (paroon) and one 4-5 ft iridecent
These sizes are wild species estimates
