Paroon?????

I would say paroon, got 2 of them and that is what mine looked like when small.
 
I say no not a Paroon or what generally we call Paroon. The P. Sanitwongsei is what people call the Paroon. That one looks more like P. Bocourti I have two of them from 4" size. They were also sold to me as Paroon's. They are 18-20" now. P. Sanitwongsei Paroon have a higher dorsal fin even when small size and black tip on the anal fin. The other pictured posted is the P.Sanitwongsei known as the Paroon shark. You can look at my videos to see what they look like at 18+.
Also the P. Sanitwongsei is a very aggressive predator. The P. Bocourti is a peaceful non aggressive only eats pellets.

Between Paroon and gigas, view from top. Paroon have a slightly more pointed nose, gigas more round, same for id. As for bocourti, I never see them before, mind to post a pic?

if it look more like a gigas, 99.9% it is a ID shark! ID shark is the closest thing to gigas, they look pretty much the same but gigas is a lot bigger!
 
That's no paroon shark in my opinion. It's tail fits paroon but dorsal fin says no. My 2" baby paroons have far more pointed fins then that it look like my 7" ID shark except for the tail.

have you ever seen one? many big cat fish with that body shape loose their whiskers when they get huge! and small gigas do have whiskers like ID shark!
 
any way, it had been a while, some update pic should tell it is a paroon or not!
