Parrot hybrid, what do you guys think.

I see no hybrid traits in the picture of adult short pink cons. When I was young I believe that jellybean parrots are just hybrid between blood parrot and pink convicts but then I learned that it was just myth. There are no such as true jellybeans. True blood parrot x convict hybrid doesnt looks like "jellybeans"and not really colorful one and so called jellybeans are just short bodied pink convicts. Oh by way, it is not true that all blood parrots have deformed spine.

I don't agree. I have 2 lfs that sell Pink convict x BP and they both call them jellybean parrots. Both of these stores breed them personally. Call it what you want but in PA this is a common fish.
yeah they have 2 jellybean convicts they breed together not a con and parrot.I am 100 percent positive they are not parrots.

Not every fish that has a round body shape comes from a bp... nobody's arguing that balloon pearl gouramies come from blood parrots. These fish are bred for their imperfection (their deformed spinal colomn).

They shouldn't be called jellybean parrots but jellybean cons.

My jellybean con male is snow white and the female has the same color pattern as a pink convinct, they breed 100% true (100% white, 90% spinal deformity).
