Parrot hybrid, what do you guys think.

mine is white. very white. is that a parrot x con or pink con? i always thoght that mine just looked like a fat con with a taller body. mine is not shortbobied at all
Thanks to all the compliments. I am not here to show him off or anything. I just wanted to get more info on my fish. I really don't care what he is or is not. All I can say is that the ones in the same tank had deformities in the spine area. They also had very thick and round scales. He also has alittle bit of pink between his belly and gills.

that is the most important part. your fish need to only look good to you. for example, lots of people hate bps. i like them. i think that they have awesome fins and personality. that is all that is important. if you hang out here long enough, you will find that there is always someone who won't like something about a fish. it is all just opinion.
this is the same thing that I have seen at several LFS in my area, the fry that look the most like parrots they sell as parrots the other fish some of witch look just like the one posted they just sell cheaper as hybrids there are a lot of people getting fooled and buying parrot x con crosses and pet stores are making a killing off of them.
I have lots of these. I had some for sale and have given some away. They are called just about every stupid name you could give them here in PA. If you ask anyone at any of the LFS around here they will give you another story about what they really are. If you like the fish great! Always go with what you like no matter what anyone else says about it! Here is a pic of one of my pairs.
Looks like a reg pink convict who just happens to be short bodied. Ive seen the real BP x CON cross and they get bigger than so called jellybean parrots.
