You guys didnt mention the non-hybrid parrot, Hoplarchus psittacus, sp? They are cool fish, just hard to come by.

just wondering are parrot's a red devil severum mut and i also have been told that they cant breed and that in a crossbred fish that only a female is fertile and males are sterile just curious

It's luck of the drawl , my blood parrots are fertile, but they only lay eggs every 3 months And half the time, 1 day after they hatch they eat them. but they look nothing like the perants my. II got 4 right now that are 1 3/4" and they look more like round rd/midas


I think cause they where articficualy bread, that's why their steril, look at flowerhorns they whern't artificualy bread so all of them can bread easly, and that fish is a cross between 7 or more species.

na i was looking at red parrots cause they can't eat my big glowlight tetras and i really like the way they look compared to flowerhorns
