too much fun pulling the tail feathers of the great bird sp.....wackadoo:popcorn:

Yup, this thread has lost all its appeal with the new mudslinging

I mean really? here we were debating theories, making jokes and having fun while the story unfolds....and then boom, someone cant make a point without slander

The superior attitude and back patting is nauseating

I dowt they going to find this bird, but looks like it is going to influence changes, like the ability for pilot to shut off the transponders, This should not be a pilots option IMHO. the question of why does not out weigh the reasons of why not.

I just kinda pointed out that it really can't be muchof anyplace but the bottom of the ocean, albeit semi - loudly,,,,,,,,,, if you really stop & think about modern technology ,,,,that is about the only possibility,,it really can't be on land ,,,,,,there it was,,,,500 miles from anywhere,,,,it (the plane) falls off radar,,,,there really isn't any other realistic scenario,,,,no matter what a bunch a ratings seeking "news anchors" blab at you

I Can't imagine why a pilot would shut it down,,seems like a bad idea (unless you have a gun to your head) ,, did I hear recent talk about the possibility of a rogue crew?... that seems almost realistic in possibility at this late juncture ,,, crazy terrorist pilot type steals his own plane?

this has been one of the biggest dilemmas, there is no message, no claims by a terrorist group, no personnel agenda. stuff like this we seek a point, what did he/they want? nothing for this one. i have no problem for the climb to 45000 feet then the drop 2300 feet. take out he passengers, those oxygen drop are only meant to last while the plane drops down, not for an extended climb, they not last that long. so we left with a nut job, locked in his cabin for no good reason than to take him and all else out with him in the hardest place there is to find a downed jet besides the antarctic. Just a guess of coarse.

on the job suicide? hmm, that is interesting

that's all I can fig with what we know so far. things may change. I do be-leave person knew what they where doing. But with out a point, a message an agenda, nut job.
