Mile High in Northern AZ, baby!~
As a kid growing up we always had a an aquarium set up in the house somewhere. I remember it to have a frame and hood made of chromed sheet metal...

Fast foward 40 years...

Last December I got my Ma back into fish keeping. We set up a 47g bow front and stocked it to the top with Orandas and other fancy goldfish.

Since I lost my Big Aro back in washington last Nov. in a 20 day power outage, I been longing for a Monster setup badly.

Well the Big tank bug bit my Ma...
After adding 6 Betta bowls to the stand of her Bowfront we figured we better find some room for a Bigger tank.

We decided to complete the garden I made for her with a Patio Garden tank.

We are starting with a 100g tank and are going to stock it with pond plants...

so what are the dimensions of that tank? it looks like an odd size, really it looks like a 55 gallon tank only alittle taller, like a 67 gallon.....

looks interesting to say the least.

Ugly dogfish you got in there :grinno:
LOL Thats my Ma's 10 year old "Latino Great Dane"
his name is Ti`mone...
pound for pound he's a killer...He has 3 mailman and numerous door to door salesman and a cleaning lady or two on his bite record...:D

I'm using "API's" aquarium safe cleaner and it isn't doing the trick. It works great on the outside of the other tank in the house.

I been wiping on this new glass tank for a half an hour and I still got a film on the inside. :screwy:

Anybody got any tricks I don't know about?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

This is a sample of the garden we plan to extend around the base of the new tank...

I just finished loading the pre-filter box...
It has large bio-balls and dual layer floss wrapped around a Pentair QuietOne 2200 500+gph pump and then the same filter-floss, coarse foam and fine foam under the grid...

I got a couple of hundred pounds of bagged pond rocks and to my suprise it was so filthy with mud I was bummed. So out to the driveway for some water fun...

I guess after 50 gallons of driveway runoff I got out the 1800 PSI LOVE :naughty:

In minutes I had a couple of shovel-loads nice and clean...

...gotta love pressure washing substrate for speed and H2O savings.:D
