Patio Garden Tank

What a bunch of clorine and cloramines this city water has in it...It smelled like a public swimming pool when I was fillin' her up for the "Acid test"

I dumped 60ml of POND stresscoat in the tank and now I have to plumb the outlets...

I think I'll do the hot PVC squeeze on some 1" pipe to make the flow more forceful...acording to my calculations I should be able to turn over the 100 gallons five times an hour...

So far so good ...NO leaks Whoooo Hooooo!! :headbang2

KOI! for a minute...

I'm been looking at one of those instant heat waterheaters that burn natural gas to possibly raise the temp and keep it at 88f...if that is cost effective, I'll turn this into the sump for a real Monster Tank, and get me whole herd of Aros :screwy:

I like your style... you post WHILE you work ... :D Wish everyone did that

Thank You...
It saves having to go through all the pix later, trying to remember what order I did things in...

Here is a shot of my outlets...
I didn't cement the 90's so I can adjust the direction of the flow. Just a little bit of paint on the pipe between the "TEE" and the "90's" is all you need to hold them together even under full flow from the pump... Works like a charm

thats what i did on my wet/dry outlets. same thing didnt glue so i could aim the water where i want it. the paint does keep them nice and snug.

are you going to be using a sump or wet/dry filter of any sort?
